Rahand Group is seeking an International Logistic Specialist (AE) to join our Global Team. The International Logistics Specialist will both develop and operate our Air/Ocean and Import/Export service offerings.

Technical Skills

  • Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers and overseas agents.
  • Coordinate the routing of import and export bookings with airline and ocean carriers.
  • Support the development of existing and new customers by working closely with your Branch Manager and the entire sales organization.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with customers, carriers, and agent representatives regarding air, ocean, import, and export products to strengthen service competitiveness.
  • Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies, communicate timely correspondence back to both customers and vendors.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Description

Accurate and complete records for all export transactions, working directly with internal and external customers to include export documentation, coordination of freight booking with 3rd party vendors and freight forwarders, freight payment of vendors / freight forwarder.

Technical Skills

  • Prepare and ensure all transactions meet trade compliance/regulatory requirements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensures accurate pricing on documents.
  • Effectively communicate availability and shipping information.
  • Coordinate with other departments, warehouses on shipments, pick-up, etc.
  • Keep and maintain accurate and complete record of all export transactions.
  • Develop, maintain and follow compliance controls, processes and procedures (with recommendations for improvements as needed).

The Marketing Manager is a key partner and supporter to the sales team, focused on the successful planning and execution of MAPS (merchandising, assortment, pricing and shelving) across customers with a strong ability to inspire and to driving revenue and profit for the business, while helping achieve our goal of becoming the Customer's most valued and relevant private brand supplier.

Technical Skills

  • Monthly reviews of specific category performance to senior leadership and sales team on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide reviews of company acquisition targets to senior management.
  • Conduct focus group studies as needed to support new item launches. May need to perform using internal employees.
  • Market research and benchmarking of target markets, analysis of company products in relation to competitors.
  • Track execution of initiatives, measure impact and report results to capitalize on incremental lift to business.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify trends, challenges and opportunities.

Description

This full-time position will be responsible for monitoring the systems, networks and services as well as taking requests, fielding job tickets and responding to questions from customers (all business and commercial customers).

This position operates a schedule of Sunday to Tuesday, with alternating Wednesdays, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A key component to this position's responsibilities is to have flexibility in scheduling so that if there is a need for back-up staff coverage, this position would be one that could provide coverage.

Technical Skills

  • Face-to-face desktop support to internal customers ( which will include local travel to all supported service areas).
  • Troubleshoot and triage service requests face to face and/or via remote access.
  • Perform Tier 2 support for one or multiple systems and releases of varying levels of complexity (ranging from medium to urgent).
  • Work independently within established policies and procedures. Communicate problem resolution and additional information to customer groups, engineering and support teams, and other IT support groups.
  • Update the WIKI knowledge base on a daily basis.
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience and industry technical certifications (CCNA, CCENT, MCSE, CompTIA A+, etc.).
